چکیده :

Regarding the increasing need of large organizations to do better in projects to have consistency with their budget and the strategy requirements so that they and can face with the growing risk in their industries, a concept of portfolio management has been developed. Today, with the extension of industry and resource limitation project portfolios must be assigned by portfolio management approach in order to achieve objectives rooted in political and economical goals. This is obtained only if managers could apply technology portfolio management in order to optimize three major goals of profit maximizing, being in line with strategic goals and projects balancing. In this regard and to be also competitive, Boeing Company has surpassed Airbus by using the model explained in the present study which also contained the above mentioned goals. The advantage gained by Boeing indicates the importance of technology portfolio management. This model is a combination of two classic and mathematical planning methods. Investigating of this model may be a suitable model for technology industries in Iran, such that by identifying risk of each project and portfolio loss of resource is avoided and better performance is achieved.
