Challenges of Leisure and Management of sport Activities and Social Damages

Since the beginning of social life of human being, leisure has been considered. In Egypt and ancient Greece, only the upper classes could enjoy entertainment. The Greeks care a lot about leisure and used it for doing sports, championship games, arts such as painting and practicing rhetoric. In the modern era, with the rise of civilization and urban life, the gradual shortening of work hours per day, the emergence of new centers and various means, leisure time and how to spend it got special attention so that in recent years some have stated that leisure is primarily a product of modern industrial societies because the actual conditions of using leisure time are ready in such societies. The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between social damages and management of leisure and sports activities, and also to see how leisure time is managed by sport activities. Research method of this study regarding strategy is descriptive, in terms of conducting route is content analysis , regarding purpose is functional, data collection method is documentary, and regarding study time it is cross-sectional; and using this method books' texts, words, themes, papers, documents and policies related to challenges of leisure activities and sports management and social damage are investigated directly. Leisure is one of the important elements in building character and values of the society that has vital role in the health of human beings societies. Physical activity is considered as an important and functional component of leisure that needs to be properly managed according to the characteristics of sports equipment. Sports activities seeks to nurture a healthy and lively generation like an international language, regardless of age, gender, skin color, religion and politics in the international community; and they are considered as one of the leading elements of leisure time. Due to the different leisure time needs of people of various classes of society and bidirectional relationship between sport equipment and its numerous applicants, sensitivity to sport laws and charters that provide the standard sports equipment is essential , and action should be taken to make them native base on values and culture of society to prevent social damages. However, unfortunately, research in this area suggests lack of planning in this field and emergence of many challenges in leisure sports that underlie many of the social dames.
