چکیده :

The variation in physical plant structural characteristics among rice varieties directly influences the optimal production practices best suited to individual rice varieties or groups of similar rice varieties. This experiment was carried out as split plot in randomized complete blocks design based four replications at Neka, Mazandaran, Iran in 2011 and 2012. Planting systems were chosen as main plots (Conventional, Improved and SRI or System of Rice Intensification) and cultivars as sub plots Sang Tarom and Hashemi Tarom. The results showed the maximum third internode diameter, fourth internode diameter and third inter-node fresh weight were observed in SRI and improved system. Highest first inter-node length was observed for improved and conventional system. First and second inter-node length and third and fourth inter-node fresh weight for var. Tarom Hashemi more than var. Sang Tarom, but third and fourth inter-node diameter for var. Sang Tarom more than Tarom Hashemi. The most tem cellulose content had obtained in SRI and conventional system. The maximum stem lignin content had obtained in SRI. Third and fourth inter-node bending moment and third and fourth inter-node breaking resistance was the least in improved system. But, the minimum third and fourth lodging index had observed in SRI. Stem cellulose and lignin content, third and fourth inter-node breaking resistance in var. Sang Tarom more than var. Tarom Hashemi. Therefore, SRI was the suitable for rice genotypes in this location.
