چکیده :

In order to investigate effects of silicon and potassium rates under two planting arrangement on lodging-related morphological characteristics and agronomical traits in rice, an experiment was carried out at split-split plot in randomized completely block design with four replications at Babol, Iran in 2009. Main plots was silicon rates in three levels including 0, 250 and 500 kg Si ha-1 and sub plots was potassium rates in three levels including 0, 72.5 and 145 kg K ha-1 and sub-sub plots was planting arrangement in two levels including 10×10 and 20×20 cm2. Results showed that the maximum of grain yield were produced in 500 kg Si ha-1, because the most of panicle length, fertile tiller per hill and panicle per m2 were observed at this treatment. The maximum of fourth inter-node bending moment were obtained in control treatment of silicon and potassium, because the highest of plant height, panicle length, fourth inter-node length and flag leaf length were observed at these treatments. The most of panicle per m2 were obtained with 145 kg K ha-1. The highest of flag leaf length and harvest index were obtained at 10×10 cm2. But the highest of plant height, tiller per hill, fertile tiller per hill, panicle per m2 and 1000 grain weight were observed in 20×20 cm2. Therefore, 500 kg Si ha-1 and 145 kg K ha-1 due to as most of yield and yield components introduced the best of manure treatment and 20×20 cm2 was the best planting arrangement.
