Bozorg-Haddad et al. (2015) evaluated the effects of nine different parameters on the reservoirs qualitative behavior resulting from sudden entry of biological pollutant. They used CE-QUAL-W2, a quality simulation software, to assess the effects of the following scenarios on the released water quality of Karaj reservoir, Iran:
(1) water release, (2) water withdrawals level, (3) input pollutant load volume, (4) coliform decay rate, (5) stored water volume in the reservoir, (6) location of input pollutant load, (7) effect of water temperature on coliform decay, (8) inflow to reservoir, and (9) coliform sedimentation rate.
