The Survey of Occupational Stressors among Physical Education Teachers

The aim of this study was to survey Occupational stressors among physical education teachers. The research’s method is descriptive- survey. The Statistical Society of study consisted of a number of high school managers and physical education teachers in Iran that were 1115 subjects during the study and statistical sample was chosen to be 290 individuals based on Morgan table. To analyse data, descriptive and inferential statistics were used that include: Kolmogorov Smirnov test, T test, One-way analysis of variance. Results of study’s descriptive statistics showed that the average of Individual stressors was (5.10), Organizational stressors were (5.28) and Occupational stressors were (5.17). Also, hypotheses’ statistical results showed that there are no meaningful differences among stressful factors based on Gender in physical education teachers. There are no meaningful differences among stressful factors based on Age in physical education teachers. But among stressful factors based on Educational certificate, there are meaningful differences. Among stressful factors regarding the teachers’ occupational Position, there were meaningful differences.
