The Purpose of present study was to investigate the relationship of family function with addiction aptitude and achievement motivation among high school students of Mirjaveh city. The method of this study was correlation-descriptive. Population of the study compromised all 3rd level high school students of Mirjaveh region. The sample size consisted of 225 students (119 girls and 106 boys) that were selected by randomly sampling. To data collection we used Family Function, Addiction Aptitude and Achievement Motivation Questionnaires. Data were analyzed by Independent t-test, Pearson Correlation coefficient and Stepwise Regression. Results revealed that there was negative significant correlation between family function and addiction aptitude of girl and boy students. Also, there was positive significant correlation between family function and achievement motivation, but there was negative significant correlation between achievement motivation and addiction aptitude. There was no significant difference between girl and boy students in aptitude addiction. But there was significant difference between girl and boy students in achievement motivation, i.e., girl had higher scores in compare to boy students. In general family function was significantly associated with addiction aptitude and achievement motivation
