چکیده :

In order to survey the priming effects on germination of Neda rice seed, an experiment was done in the factorial method and quite random design in the lab of agriculture faculty in 2011. The treatments included poly ethylene glycol (PEG) with the densities of 5 and 10 percent, potassium nitrate (KNO3) with densities of 1 and 2 percent and potassium chloride (KCL) with densities of 2 and 4 percent and the periods of 6 and12 hours. The results implied that the maximum length of roots under the treatments of priming with KNO3 and PEG were gained with densities of 1 and 5 respectively were (9.33cm, 8.002 cm). The most length of seedling under the treatments of priming with KNO3 gained with densities of 1 respectively was (17.78 cm). The most root to shoot length (R/S) for prim KNO3 was gained with density 1 percent to (8.64%). The most ratios of rootless weight and stem (R/S) under the treatments of priming with KNO3 gained with densities of 1 respectively were (8.64%, 0.062%). Maximum speed of germination as priming treatment PEG and KNO3 Concentrations were 5 and 1 percent respectively (6.59% and 86.83%).The highest index vigor1 under Prime by KNO3 Concentration of 1% (1527.4). While the highest and lowest index vigor 2 corresponds to the KNO3 and KCL at concentrations of 1 and 4% were obtained (11.39 and 4.41) in rice seed. Result Different treatments priming and priming duration on germination and seedling growth of rice has been effective.
