چکیده :

Transportation models as an important graph structured linear programming problems play an important role in logistics and supply chain management for reducing cost and improving service. This paper develops a procedure to derive the fuzzy objective value of the transportation problem, in that the cost coecients are triangular fuzzy numbers. In the proposed approach, the fuzzy transportation problem is converted into a multi obajective linear programming problem with three-objective functions that can be solved using the weighted sum method. An application example is solved to illustrate the proposed approach. The results show that the algorithm used in this study is simpler and computationally more ef- cient than some existing algorithms commonly used in the literature.
