چکیده :

Background and Aim : The aim of the present study was investigating the relationship between addiction and depression, spouse abuse and personality types in addicts in the Sixth Congress of Iman Region 4. This study was conducted in the form of a descriptive-correlational study. Methods: This study was a descriptive and correlational study that were selected among all addicted people in the 60th Congress in Tehran (Region 4) Iman Branch in 2016 with a population of 182 people using Morgan table and randomly sampled to A total of 120 people. The research tools includ Beck Depression, Attitude to Theoretical Addiction (nazari, 2001), spouse abuse(Mousavi, Ishaqian and Azadeh, 2002) and Personality Types (Michael Kegeln) Questionnaires. The statistical method used for data analysis was matrix of coefficient correlation and multiple regression. Results: The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between addiction and depression and spouse abuse in addicts and a significant negative relationship between addiction and extroverted personality type, but no relationship was achieved between addiction and introversion personality type. There was also a negative relationship between spouse abuse and depression, and between introversion and extroversion personality type and depression, and significant positive relationship between extroversion personality type and spouse abuse. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that addiction can increase the level of depression in people and spouse abuse, and personality types can also affect addiction, depression and spouse abuse.
