Homotopy Perturbation Combined with Pad´e Approximation for Solving Two Dimensional Viscous Flow in the Extrusion Process

In this letter, we will consider homotopy perturbation method (HPM) and Pad´eapproximant, for finding approximate solutions of two dimensional viscous flow. The HPM technique provides a sequence of functions which converges to the exact solution of the problem. The Pad´e-approximant increase the convergence of the solutions obtained by the HPM. It is of interest to be noted that Pad´e-approximants give results with no greater error bound than approximation by polynomials.The solutions is compared with the exact solution.
