چکیده :

Unlike in the past when the staff were expected to act based on their formal functions, in the new psychological contracts, behaviors beyond the limits of the functions are expected. In the past, public management mainly focused on the events within the bureaucracy and mostly considered the problems within the bureaucracy to be of utmost importance. Today, public management must identify its social and public dimensions and be aware of the effects of its organization on its social environment and consider the issues of citizens and citizenship as its main preoccupation. The main goal of this study is investigation of the relationship between organizational commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in the Governorship of City of Sirjan, Iran. The research method, according to the type of research, is descriptive-analytical. The sample includes 40 staff of the Governorship of Sirjan which has been selected by simple random sampling. The reliability coefficient of the questionnaires for the variables of organizational commitment and OCB have been estimated to be 88.4%and 88.7% respectively. The data analysis has been conducted at the two levels of descriptive and inferential statistics and through SPSS Software.
