A Review On Authoring Tools

Recently, a growing number of Institutions and business organizations have embraced the concept of E-learning. They use web based learning systems to fulfill their educational needs. E-learning authoring tools (or AT for short) enable trainers to integrate an array of media to create professional, engaging, interactive training content, and some make it possible to repurpose digitized elements or learning objects from an existing course for reuse in a new one. The choice of the best authoring tools for the right user is very important for the development of contents for E-learning. In This paper we are going to review on various authoring tools available in the market today and the need and importance of creating contents in E-learning, finally, we will classify the authoring tools.
