In this study the reliability index of RC structures before and after rehabilitation with shear wall compared. If structural usage changes; and the load demand increase, the structure rehabilitation is necessary. Shear wall is one of the best ways of rehabilitation. In this research, the reliability index of a structure which designed according to Canadian standard and located in QOM-IRAN calculated. Then the reliability index of the structure by adding shear wall calculated. By investigating the results, a method offered for safety achievement.
