Background: Proper dietary pattern all the nutrients women need for optimum activity provides them throughout life. More women than men at risk for deficiency of protein, energy, iron, folic acid, calcium, vitamin A and iodine are placed. Given the importance of nutrition for women, this study aimed to assess Nutritional status in obese and non-obese childbearing age women in Iran. Methods: This review article by searching on Google scholar search engines and databases magiran, Sid, PubMed and iranmedex by keyword Nutritional status, pregnant women, dietary habits, obesity and overweight between 1990 and 2015 it is done. Results: Results of the studies showed that daily consumption of snacks, bread and cereals, fats are consumed Family, ice cream and sweets there is a significant difference between obese and lean. Nutritional awareness, physical activity, nutritional status, age at menarche and rating (based on BMI for age) did not show a statistically significant relationship. Also significant association between BMI and physical activity levels in women, respectively. Women surveyed about specific vitamins and minerals such as vitamin A, riboflavin, vitamin C, folacin, vitamin B12, calcium and phosphorus deficiency were more than other salts. To folic acid before pregnancy was 14.2 for women. As well as between 4.35 to 5.33 percent of the women taking folic acid tablets, approximately 6.7 to 7.96 of the multivitamin and iron were trained. CONCLUSIONS: According to the results, it seems that the lack of certain nutrients in the diet of pregnant women and women receiving less vegetables and fruits. Adequate intake of some nutrients may be better to get some nutrients. So for the consumption of certain vitamins and minerals and other nutrients should be given the necessary training to women during pregnancy. Obese pregnant women also avoid the use of fatty substances and other harmful to your unborn baby to avoid the complications of obesity.
