This experiment was conducted to investigate the physicochemical properties of substrates and morphological characteristics of plants and shoots. This study was carried out as 4×3 factorial experiment with 4 levels of salinity (0, 20, 40 and 60 mM) and 3 levels of growing media (perlite, perlite + peat moss (1:1 V:V) and perlite + vermiculite (1:1 V:V)) in 12 treatments, 3 replicates in a completely randomized design. Results showed that the effects of different levels of salinity and media on all the morphological characteristics of the plant and all the characters significant. With increasing salinity at levels to 20 mM had increased traits and then there was reduced noticeably. The results showed that the contexts of culture, bulk density, porosity and pH, EC differences were significant at 1% level. The highest chlorophyll content, plant height, leaf area, stem diameter, root and shoot dry weight, size, average fruit weight were observed at 20 mM salinity and media Perlite+peat moss. In different contexts cultures no observed significant in fruit size.
